Every December, Live 105 assembles a knockout lineup of some of the biggest and best acts in the rock and indie scenes. In the past, bands like Weezer, Death Cab For Cutie, CHVRCHES, Foals, Future Islands, Linkin Park, Fall Out Boy, and Interpol have played the annual event, and this year’s lineup is shaping up to be just as rad.
On the first night (Friday, Dec. 9), Blink-182, Empire of the Sun, Jimmy Eat World, Glass Animals, Capital Cities, and The Strumbellas will hit the stage for what we can only imagine will be a rather raucous, wild night.
Not to be outdone, the second night (Saturday, Dec. 10) boasts an equally impressive array of artists, starting off with hometown legends Green Day, followed by other titillating acts, like Bastille, The Head and the Heart, Phantogram, Catfish and the Bottleman, and K-Flay.
Honestly, it’s hard to say which night is better, but one thing’s for sure: With acts like electronic duo Phantogram and the groovy English quartet Glass Animals, it’s clear that Live 105 has gone out of its way to ensure that this year’s festivities will be one of its most eclectic yet. And we couldn’t be more excited.
Tickets go on-sale Friday, Oct. 28 at 10 a.m. for Night One and at noon for Night Two.
