Hunt For Dirtybird Easter Eggs in S.F. Next Saturday

Instead of candy, you can win free Dirtybird BBQ tickets, Birdfeed subscriptions, signed vinyl records, and more!

Wandering around San Francisco looking for Easter Eggs might not be your ideal way to spend a Saturday, but what if I told you there were prizes?

On Saturday, April 15, tech-house label and collective Dirtybird is hosting its first-ever Easter egg hunt in San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Washington, D.C. Participants can score Dirtybird BBQ tickets, Birdfeed subscriptions, merchandise discount codes, and the hallowed Campout Golden Egg.

Interested? Here’s how to partake.

Using stickers placed on landmarks and other “hints,” participants will start their hunt at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 15. If you find an egg, post a selfie with it on Instagram or Twitter, and tag Dirtybird using the hashtags #DirtybirdEggHunt and #SFBBQ. The first 25 people to do so will win Dirtybird BBQ and BBQ Feast tickets. (Winners will be notified through a reply or comment.)

Even if you’re not one of the first 25 people to find an egg, you can still hunt for the so-called Golden Egg, which is the big kahuna of prizes, and includes free tickets to Dirtybird Campout and BBQ, a BBQ T-shirt, and signed vinyl copy of the label’s annual BBQ compilation record.

And for those who don’t find eggs before the first 25 do, you can still win stuff, too! If you partake in the hunt between 1 to 3 p.m. and find an egg, make sure to still post a selfie with it on social media, because you can still win some of Dirtybird’s smaller prizes.

But also, who cares about prizes? Isn’t the fact that you’re running around S.F. hunting for eggs like a big ol’ kid prize enough? I mean, come on. When’s the last time you went Easter egg hunting anyways?
