In celebration of their Saturday homecoming show, punk rockers Green Day will open a two-day pop-up shop at 1-2-3-4 Go! Records. The shop opens Thursday, Aug. 3 from 12:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and again on Friday, Aug. 4 from noon to 8 p.m., where fans will be able to pick up exclusive merchandise.
Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt were at 1-2-3-4 Go! in December when they made a special guest appearance with SWMRS for a Ghost Ship benefit show.
If you’re a member of Idiot Nation, the band’s fan club, make sure you get there early. The first 250 members to arrive will get the chance to win a limited edition prize.
So if exclusive Green Day merch sounds right up your alley, head on over to 420 40th St., No. 5 in Oakland to get your hands on something to wear at the show on Saturday night.
Green Day also plays Saturday, Aug. 5, at 7 p.m. at the Oakland Coliseum as part of the fall leg of their Revolution Radio World Tour.
