Yesterday, the Bay Area rapper and HBK founder Iamsu! released a music video for his new single, “Bo$$ Up.” With a hook that goes “They don’t want to see you boss up / So you know I had to boss up,” it’s no wonder that the entire film is dedicated to bragging and showing off.
We see snippets of ‘Su performing on various stages and doing interviews, as well as shots of him gazing out of the window of the Oakland head quarters of his new record label, Eyes On Me LLC, which he runs with his momager, Maxine Harris. We also see glimpses of some of the rapper’s achievements like the double platinum plaque he received from the Recording Industry Association of America for Sage the Gemini’s single, “Gas Pedal,” on which ‘Su was a featured artist.
Earlier this month, we found out that ‘Su had purchased a six-bedroom house in Atlanta and has plans to build an in-house studio with help from 2 Chainz.
