Australian Duo Bag Raiders on Crafting Bangers, Crazy S.F. Crowds, and Haunted Hotels

Following the success of fellow Aussie acts Cut Copy, Empire of the Sun, and the Presets, Sydney electro-pop duo Bag Raiders rides a steady wave of hype back into San Francisco this week. Signed to the label Modular, Bag Raiders, made up of Chris Stracey and Jack Glass, are known for their sunshine-and-rainbow-conjuring hits like “Fun Punch” and “Turbo Love.” Freshly landed back in the U.S., they spoke with All Shook Down about which European city has a haunted hotel, making music on the road, and how S.F. can remain on the top of their party list. They play Friday at the Mezzanine with Muscles and G.L.O.V.E.S.
