Kendrick Lamar and Taylor Swift Finally Team Up for “Bad Blood” Video

It was bound to happen eventually, but it's finally official: Kendrick Lamar and Taylor Swift are officially collaborating.

The two stars have been showing appreciation for each other's work in the media for a little while now, and some (like me) were eagerly awaiting a T-Swizzle and Kendrick Lamar single — could you imagine how much better “Shake It Off” would have been if Kendrick Lamar rapped instead of Swift?

Unfortunately this collab is only a video. Lamar will star as “Welvin Da Great” in the video for “Bad Blood,” a single off Swift's latest album, 1989. But hey, it's a start. I'm sure the song will come soon enough.

The video is a bit of a who's who, also starring Lena Dunham of Girls and various internet controversies, Hailee Steinfeld of True Grit, Ellie Goulding, Hayley Williams of Paramore, Zendaya, and Lily Aldridge.

Your first chance to peep the video will come Sunday at the Billboard Music Awards on ABC.
