Cirque Du Soleil is known for thrilling and engaging the crowd, and opening night Friday November 16 in San Francisco was no different. The French production company resurrected traditional acts of circuses past – clowns, trapese artists, contortionists and the like – but they did it with Cirque professionalism.
Being a big fan, I am biased to love every bit of the show which runs in SF through January 20. Based on the reactions of the audience, I wasn’t the only one. The crowd cheered in unison during stunts, gasping as the performers reached scary heights. The only time you could’ve gotten bored was waiting in line for the restroom.
