U2 Reschedules Oakland Concert to 2011

You may resume breathing, disappointed Bay Area U2 fans: Bono and company are coming back. But not until next year. As you no doubt remember, U2 had to cancel last month's Oakland show due to the sunglassed singer's emergency back surgery. Tour promoter Live Nation announced today that the band will return to the North American road next summer. Between shows in Seattle and Anaheim, the Irish lads will hit McAfee Colisum (where the A's play) on June 7, 2011 — a hair more than a year past their original 2010 date. Tickets from the canceled show will of course be honored. Start counting down now.
