Weekend Party Preview: Star Eyes at Som, Leftovers at 330 Ritch, Go Bang!'s Third Anniversary, and More

As you might imagine, Thanksgiving weekend isn't exactly the most lively time of the year. Yet, despite what you'd think, the city still offers plenty of options for those of you unaffected by heroic doses of tryptophan. In fact, following the theme of Black Friday, this weekend offers budget savvy nightlife fans with more than a handful of fun options that won't break the bank. Here's to the one weekend out of the year when “discount bottle service” sounds like a good idea.

Friday, November 25

What: Post-Thanksgiving Rave featuring Star Eyes, Worthy, and Sleazemore
Where: Som
When: 9:30 p.m. – 4:00 a.m.
Why: Looking to get a little classy on the cheap? Maybe you want to ball on a budget? Som's working the Black Friday angle this Friday with its “Post-Thanksgiving Rave.” Headlining the bill is Brooklynite Trouble & Bass co-founder Star Eyes, who used to be a mainstay in the San Francisco drum 'n' bass community. Nowadays, she spends her time touring the world, dropping bass-heavy and booty shaking sets for throngs of enthusiastic clubbers. To get an idea of what she's all about, check out “Ride or Die,” “Black Ice,” and her recent remix of Tony Rocky Horror's “Bump N Grizzle.” Lending support for the evening are Dirtybird's Worthy and Lights Down Low's Sleazemore.
