That's the big question around S.F. after the rightly beloved (and long-dormant) Atlanta rap duo today announced that it will be playing more than 40 festivals this spring and summer. (News that of course follows last week's announcements of a Coachella headlining slot and a Governor's Ball NYC performance.)
Forty festivals is a lot of festivals, and we think it's pretty likely that Outkast finds its way onto the top of the Outside Lands lineup. Big Boi has already been booked twice (and played once), remember, so adding Andre would seem to be a no-brainer. But Outkast at Outside Lands would also mark a major change for the festival, which has not emphasized urban music, and which has never had a rapper headline.
