A 50-year-old man has died in a two-car collision near the Hunters Point shoreline on Sunday, police said Monday.
The two cars collided on Sunday around 3:35 p.m. on Evans Avenue and Hunters Point Boulevard, near India Basin Shoreline Park. The two drivers and one passenger were transported to the hospital, where one driver was pronounced dead, after one of the cars rolled over.
San Francisco resident Lee Dominique Jr. was 50 years old, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office.
As of Monday afternoon, the other driver is in life-threatening condition while the the passenger has less-serious injuries. No cause was given and no arrest has been made.
San Francisco’s Vision Zero count, which tracks traffic fatalities on city streets, stood at 22 by the end of August — just one less than its 2018 count.
