No one should begrudge Wired its success, but its publishers deserve a sharp kick to the shins for its Scenarios special edition, now selling for $5.95 on the newsstand. About half of the 80-plus pages of inside editorial hole is given to text so large that it makes large-print books look like agate and air-ball illustrations that do nothing to advance the story. Guess they needed something to keep the ads from bumping into one another.
