Medical authorities have identified Darius Perkins as the man who was shot to death yesterday evening near a Bayview store.

Police were called to the scene at about 5:20 p.m. where they found 25-year-old Perkins on a sidewalk on the corner of Fitzgerald Avenue and Ingalls Street.

Perkins was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he died.
