A Santa Cruz man accused of driving while high on meth didn't do himself any favors by posing for this mug shot.
Abraham Kelly, 40, was arrested by Santa Cruz police following a “low-speed pursuit” through the west of Santa Cruz. Cops had been flagged down by several people reporting a green minivan driving erratically and purportedly targeting pedestrians intentionally just for the sheer joy of it.
Kelly's flight was hampered by a battalion of officers on the streets working the Amgen Tour of California cycling race. He was eventually cornered at a gas station, and arrested with an unusual cargo in his van:
