Dr. Priscilla Chan, a pediatric resident at UCSF, is expecting a child with her husband, Mark Zuckerberg, a San Francisco resident and the man who owns all your data and is probably making money off you right now.
Zuckerberg announced the pregnancy on Facebook, and revealed that Chan has had three miscarriages. “It's a lonely experience. Most people don't discuss miscarriages because you worry your problems will distance you or reflect upon you — as if you're defective or did something to cause this. So you struggle on your own,” Zuckerberg wrote. “We hope that sharing our experience will give more people the same hope we felt and will help more people feel comfortable sharing their stories as well.”
According to the post, Dr. Chan and the child are both healthy and an ultrasound showed the baby girl giving a thumbs up, which is weird, because you're supposed to click on a button to express that emotion.
The photo of the happy couple also revealed that they own an animated mop named Beast.
