Carly Fiorina is running for president. The 60-year-old businesswoman is perhaps best known to Californians for her failed campaign to unseat Senator Barbara Boxer in 2010 and bizarre “demon sheep” campaign ad. (Despite its promising description, the demon sheep ad is something of a let down, kind of like Fiorina.)
Fiorina's biggest selling point as a politician is her experience as an executive, based on her term as CEO of Hewlett-Packard, where she oversaw massive layoffs before being pushed out with a $21 million severance package, according to Mother Jones.
[jump] But the woman who blames liberals and environmentalists for California's historic drought might want to rethink her web strategy. Someone poached the CarlyFiorina.org web domain and has put up a simple message reminding the world of the exec's sorry record at HP: one frowny face per lost job. That's a whole lot of 🙁 for a Monday morning.
