Though many of us have reached a breaking point of news about fires, one came to the Excelsior early Wednesday morning.
At 12:15 a.m., fire officials reported a two-alarm fire at 475 Vienna Street that left five people displaced from their single-family home.
The two surrounding homes endured light damage and a total of 16 people were affected, Bay City News reports.
Fire crews contained the fire by 12:40 a.m. and continued to clean up the damage as the American Red Cross arrived to help the displaced residents. There were no reported injuries.
