Hopefully, Mayor Ed Lee woke up feeling sociable — and hungry — today. After a lengthy lunch with First Lady Michelle Obama, he met up with Mongolian President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj to chow down on more grub.
In case you missed the motorcade across San Francisco, the First Lady kicked off the day at a fundraising breakfast at Berkeley's Claremont Hotel Club & Spa for President Barack Obama's 2012 reelection campaign.
Afterward, she joined Lee and other city supervisors for a luncheon at the San Francisco's Merchants Exchange Building, giving her a chance to shakedown the roughly 200 attendees for more money. And it worked — she walked away with some $2,500 a head for her husband's campaign.
