The annual traffic jam caused by Dreamforce is forgiven this year.
Former First Lady Michelle Obama joined the Salesforce convention Tuesday as keynote speaker, with attendees lining up at the Moscone Center before the crack of dawn to see her. At 9:30 a.m., she spoke with Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff.
There’s no place we’d rather be at 5:30am on day 2 of #Dreamforce2017 than waiting to see @MichelleObama. #mySDG @angela1_sfdc @guilda_h pic.twitter.com/XKoBX27xO2

No photography or recordings were allowed, but Inc. reports that Obama first focused on education and youth before advising tech leaders to foster a work culture that supports parents. She also advised they be more open to listening, hiring women to move toward gender equality, and being vocal against sexual harassment in the workplace.

Nameless attendees weren’t the only ones excited by her presence — Mayor Ed Lee attended, along with Sup. London Breed.
