The reward for information leading to the arrest of the person who stabbed a puppy at Ocean Beach has been raised today from $2,000 to $5,000 via an anonymous donor.
In case you haven't been following this story, it's pretty awful. A volunteer with Grateful Dogs Rescue was walking a young pitbull named Pogo on Ocean Beach July 22 when he disappeared. Pogo was found Tuesday morning stabbed to death.
Well, the Snitch loves puppys. And hates puppy stabbers and thus we urge you to call (415) 554-9400 with any tips you might have.
One has trouble imagining what kind of person might stab a puppy, but I am inclined to picture them twirling an oversized mustache, so cartoonishly evil is this crime.
And note to commenters on the Chron article- this money is not being proffered by the city, it's coming from Grateful Dogs Rescue and The Friends of SF Animal Care & Control in addition to the anonymous donor.
