After witnessing a woman fight with a meter maid over a parking ticket, the last thing I was expecting to read this morning was that San Franciscans are feeling good about this city. But apparently it's true. In fact, according to the S.F. Chamber of Commerce, they're feeling downright optimistic.
A Chamber-induced poll says that S.F. denizens' positive feelings about our fair city has doubled since last year. This is when we ask … is it because Gavin Newsom moved to Marin, or perhaps they are just happy they don't live in Oakland?
The Chamber, and Newsom himself, point to Silicon Valley tech firms, saying the relocation of those companies to San Francisco over the last year have put our economy on the right track.
And nothing makes people happier than having more money, right?
