Supervisors Punt on Replacing Mayor Again

In what has become a disturbing weekly ritual, the Board of Supervisors once again procrastinated on its duty of choosing San Francisco's next mayor.

Following a lengthy procession of speakers representing both the sane and crazy communities, the supes hastily voted to continue the mayoral selection process to Jan. 4 — the current board's last meeting before four new supervisors are sworn in.
