Suspect Sought for Vile Puppy Murder

Four-month-old Prince was caught in the crossfire of an alleged domestic violence dispute.

A four-month-old puppy named Prince has been cruelly killed in a domestic violence dispute and police need the public’s help to find the suspect.

On Saturday morning, Delos Pierre Gallon allegedly had an argument with a female victim at a store on Turk Street between Mason and Taylor streets, near the Powell Street station. It escalated into when 23-year-old Gallon allegedly threw canned food at the woman, police say Tuesday.

But the physical assault wasn’t limited to the female victim. Gallon then allegedly grabbed her four-month-old Cocker Spaniel, Prince, and slammed him to the ground.

By the time police arrived around 11:40 a.m., the Gallon and the woman had already left. Officers found her and Prince near Turk and Taylor streets and transported them to San Francisco Animal Care and Control.

Prince did not survive.

Police urge individuals who have seen Gallon, who has a prior arrest for firearms violations, to call 911. Anyone with information on the incident may anonymously call 415-575-4444 or text ‘SFPD’ to TIP411.
