A federal judge has issued a restraining order banning Robert Stokes from visiting his ex-employer, the Presidio Trust, after he threatened to sic the Tea Party on the organization that manages the sprawling San Francisco park.
“You know what: I'm gonna get a hold of the Tea Party, and I'm gonna see the dissolution of the Presidio Trust. It's gonna go back to the National Park Service” said Stokes in a March 6 voicemail message to his former employer. “I'm ready to go full-tilt boogie, so you need to get off your fucking ass and come to the bartering table, okay?”
The message was among a barrage of voicemails Stokes purportedly left following his firing last October. Many of them included threats of violence against Presidio Trust employees.
