Your Itemized Bill for Clean Up After Valentine's Day Pillow Fight

Yesterday, we reported that the annual Valentine's Day Pillow Fight had a much lower turnout, thanks to the winter downpour. As promised, the Public Works Department has given us an itemized bill detailing what it cost to clean up the mess of feathers.

You can find the itemized bill below.

Gloria Chan, spokeswoman with the DPW, estimated that between 300 and 600 people showed up Sunday night for the pillow-pounding fun at Justin Herman Plaza. And as with every other year, clean up crews came in after the nighttime event, picking up feathers and trash left behind.

But this year required much less manpower to pick up feathers and scrub the grounds. Fewer people participating in the pillow fight sent fewer feathers flying in the air.
