It’s very rare to have an indie-rock band cover nearly an all-acoustic set let alone in San Francisco. Bats for Lashes’ Natasha Khan did that on Galentine’s Day at the Palace of the Fine Arts Theater in San Francisco. From Slim’s to Outside Lands, the elegant front woman for Bats for Lashes quietly arrived on stage, wearing a rear satin and lace dress to rising applause from the audience. Dubbed a quiet acoustic set, it was far from quiet, the hard riffs of her Fender guitar mixed with her soothing raspy voice made the nice more intimate.
