Bloc Party at The Masonic, Wednesday, November 20, 2019

On Wednesday night, British indie-rock band Bloc Party returns to North America for a short tour to play Silent Alarm, an album released in 2005. The four piece was able to draw a packed room at The Masonic in San Francisco in the middle of the week. Shadows of nostalgic dancers can be found along the walls above the balcony as lights flash and move throughout the crowd. Those that didn’t dance can be found singing along to BanquetThis Modern Love, and Helicopter. Though Bloc Party’s set was made to highlight Silent Alarm, sprinkled throughout were other bangers throughout the years like Little Thoughts and Flux. The event was short lived and San Francisco is sure to anticipate their next return.
