In one of the most beautiful venues in San Francisco, Chelsea Wolfe played on Friday night at Regency Ballroom. The room buzzed with excitement while the opener, Ioanna Gika, stoked the viewers with their dream pop vibes. Once Chelsea came onto the stage, the venue became a sanctuary for those that filled the space. Regardless of what was going on in the room, the singer-song writer was still able to captivate her listeners and transcend them with her voice and lyrics.

With encouragement from her fans, Chelsea was able to push through the show with songs from her old albums but also debuts songs from her new album Birth of Violence, released through Sargent House. The performance reflected the same kind of vulnerability and healing that the album portrays. If you have yet to see the artist live or listen to her new album, I highly recommend a listen.
