Los Angeles’ Dirty Honey may have been described as “New Fashioned Rock ‘n Roll,” but perhaps “Maximum Rock n Roll” would be a much more fitting description, because that is exactly what they brought to Slim’s earlier this week. Although they have only released on E.P., the band has created quite a buzz about them, and after the show, it was easy to see why. Highlights from their set included “Break You,” “Down the Road,” and “When I’m Gone.” Support for the Dirty Honey came from The Amazons, the Reading, U.K. who are playing in America for the first time on this tour. The band brought the crowd into the venue and up to the front of the stage early with their catchy sound.
