Journey along with rock icons Def Leppard and Foreigner, returned to the Bay Friday evening at AT&T Park. It’s been 2 years since Journey have played here since 2016 with Day on the Green and they did not disappoint. The hits just rocked the clear cool air at the ballpark with chart-toppers the entire stadium sang along to such as Who’s Crying Now, Open Arms, Anyway You Want It, Faithfully, Don’t Stop Believin’ and Neal Schon’s tribute to Steve Perry with Lights. Def Leppard performed with a rock start as their set experienced a power failure right after their introduction on stage. After a few minutes, they restarted again but lost a little excitement from the crowd. Some of their top hits included Pour Some Sugar on Me, Foolin, Switch 625 with Rick Allen’s drum solo and an encore with Rock of Ages and Photograph. Foreigner started off the evening with all their radio hits including Cold as Ice, Feels like the First Time, Juke Box Hero, I Want to Know What Love Is, and Hot Blooded.
