Paul McCartney remained ever the showman with a three-hour, sold-out, performance at the SAP Center in San Jose on July 10, 2019. The crowd pleasing set, no small thanks to Paul’s stellar band, tapped into decades of material going back to The Quarrymen, the band’s pre-Beatles group. Highlights included McCartney singing “Blackbird” on a platform that rose high above the front row, a crowd sing-along during “Hey Jude,” and a fiery “Live and Let Die” with pyrotechnic flourishes.
