DNA Lounge, Cold Waves industrial music festival and Bodyshock presented a night of industrial music at DNA Lounge this past Thursday, September 12th. London’s Test Dept. made a rare appearance on their limited North American tour. The classic project used a variety of unconventional percussion and instrumentation, even adding a trumpet and singing saw to the mix. Severed Heads from Australia dished out some of their danceable and wryly humorous tracks complemented by mesmerizing visuals, and industrial music icon Paul Barker brought his “mini dub sound system”, showcasing a variety of hit and remixed Ministry tracks and visuals. DJs Crxckwhxre and Zlaya provided between-band tunes for the black-clad crowd to dance to.
